Yan Bin, Pan (MEng)
Graduate Data Scientist and Software Developer Trainee
Yan Bin Pan (aka Bin) works as a software developer and data scientist for SATAVIA, with responsibility for developing and supporting the company’s high-tech products to make aviation cleaner and greener.
Prior to joining SATAVIA, he worked as a lifing engineer at Rolls-Royce, developing new lifing methods to estimate fatigue life of critical engine components. He also held various intern roles within the Italian Air Traffic service provider ENAV, supporting the activities of air traffic management.
He graduated with a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London, and had his final year thesis featured in the Fatigue & Fracture of Engineering Materials & Structures journal.
